On December 18, on the official HoYoverse page, a new 4* character was announced along with the Cloud Retainer Xianyun – Pyro Claymore user from Li Yue (Gaming).

Model: Male, Medium Build

Ka Min – an energetic young man and an enthusiastic actor who is popular among the residents of Li Yue. He usually performs in a lion costume, earning him the nickname "Lion Boy." Unfortunately, Ka Min's passion does not bring him much wealth, but the highest reward for the young man is applause and admiration from the audience.

Ka Min is also the head of the security company "Sword and Strongbox." His life revolves around combining his favorite unpaid hobby and the strict duties required by the position of a guard and overseer.

The new character will be released in patch 4.4 on January 31, 2024. It is associated with the Lantern Rite Festival, traditionally held in Genshin Impact to celebrate the New Year and Christmas. Ka Min can be obtained for free by choosing among other 4* characters from Li Yue.
