Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Hunt – a world quest in Genshin Impact version 4.2. The Traveler is tasked with helping Urville and his loyal mermaid companion Nadia.

How to Start the Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Hunt Quest

The quest becomes available after completing the entire questline "In the Wake of Narcissus". The quest marker will appear in the middle of the water near the Fort Charybdis Ruins area. A wooden raft with an unknown man and a mermaid child will be found near the underwater teleport waypoint.

Wish-Fulfilling Treasure Hunt: Walkthrough

Head to the area of Fort Charybdis Ruins and find the raft in the middle of the water. You will witness a conversation between the mermaid and a young man who seems exhausted and trying to catch his breath.

It turns out that Urville – as the young man introduces himself – has lost his treasures and important equipment at the bottom of the Fountain waters. Urville needs the money to heal Nadia, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and is experiencing memory lapses. Despite Urville's purely selfish goals and dreams of getting rich, he is sympathetic to Nadia, who is his long-time friend, and thus asks the Traveler for help.

After the conversation with Urville on the raft, you will be automatically transported to "The Rusty Rudder" - a ship where the locals gather to relax and drink.

The man will elaborate on his story and Nadia's illness. Initially, he distrusts the Traveler, thinking you will try to deceive him – render a service under the guise of help and then demand a lot of mora. However, during the conversation, Urville eventually becomes convinced of the selflessness of your intentions and your sincere desire to help Nadia.

Nadia will also mention that she lost her "gift," which is unique to each mermaid and looks like an ordinary gear, and that needs to be found as well.

Save the Lost Items

Dive underwater near "The Rusty Rudder." All the treasures will be scattered around the Tower of Ipsissimus. Dive to the bottom and swim around the tower. The treasures will be marked with a yellow glowing marker.

You need to collect:

• A small shell;
• "Something" - an item of unknown origin, which you decide to take with you just in case;
• Sunken purse – the one Urville was looking for;
• Tripod – Urville's equipment. It will be hidden behind seaweed that needs to be cut with the Xenochromatic Hunter's Ray ability;
• Nadia's "gift" – found in a large pink shell that opens after a hit.

Once you've gathered all the items, resurface on the shore and return to Urville at "The Rusty Rudder."

Return to "The Rusty Rudder" to Find Urville

Urville will be waiting for you in the same place. Hand over all the found items and receive in return an Enigmatic Page. This is the missing page from the Book of Esoteric Revelations. Essentially, it provides no rewards – neither achievements nor an extra chest. You can insert the page into the book "for the sake of completion" to keep it from cluttering your inventory.

Suddenly, Nadia will recall the presumed location of the treasures. Follow the mermaid's directions until her memory fails again. Urville promises that you'll split any found treasures halfway.

Enter the Underwater Sanctuary

Dive underwater in the Salacia Plain area and swim towards the large ruins with a barrier. Deal with the octopuses in front of the entrance to proceed.

Find Clues to the Treasures

Swim through the barrier and find yourself inside the structure. Nadia, Urville, the Traveler, and Paimon will start searching the sanctuary for treasures but find nothing. The only thing discovered is Urville's childhood notes about his mermaid companion. In them, the boy wrote that Nadia is his main treasure.

You will witness a heartwarming conversation between Urville and Nadia. The man believes that he hasn't achieved anything over the years. The mermaid will support her friend and believe that he is destined to become rich and successful.

Urville won't give up on his main desire – money, but he will reflect a bit more on the value of friendship and such an important companion as Nadia, who has always supported him despite her poor health. The Traveler will conclude that despite the lack of treasures, they have gained something much more important – memories and warm feelings towards each other. The friends decide to capture this moment on camera.

Approach the camera and take a photo of Nadia and Urville. The quest will conclude.
