To open the "Capturing Light and Shadow" quest in the Mirage Veluriyam, you first need to complete Chapter 1 of the main storyline. After completing a small quest, you will obtain several Simple Chests, 1 Exquisite Chest, and 1 Luxurious Chest.

Where to find the "Capturing Light and Shadow" world quest?

Head to the location marked on the map below and hop on the boat called "Chuh-Chuh".

The boat will take you to the final point where you need to approach the next Chuh-Chuh.

That Chuh-Chuh will take you to a small underground area with a teleporter - activate it and go up the stairs.

Go straight, accept the quest, and approach Drop. She will lead you to a chest, a note, and then to Chuh-chuh. Ride to the final station and guide to the projector. You will see that the droplet activates the projector and illuminates a part of the mural. Now we need to unlock 3 more of such Flowing Projectors!

How to unlock 3 Flowing Projectors?

First Projector

Jump down to the slime monsters - defeat the enemies, read the note, and open the chest.

Right next to the slime monsters, find a mini-cave and jump behind Drop.

Fight the enemies again, take the chest, and continue following Klee until you sit on Chuh-Chuh. When you arrive at the destination, guide the creature to the nearest projector.

Second Projector

Stand close to the mural with your back to it and look up and to the right - you will see a marker and another passage.

Head there. Upon entering, you will notice that the door is locked, so go around the room where you will encounter Drop near the torches. Read the note nearby (if Drop doesn't move, extinguish the Hydro torches) and continue, grabbing chests along the way.

When you reach the gate, look up and use the four-leaf symbol.

Jump to Drop and extinguish the torches, then return to the top using the symbol and finally jump through the adjacent passage. Defeat the enemies, sit on train, and ride to the final destination.

Third Projector

Now head to the opposite side of the mural - there you will see an open cave, Drop, and an Exquisite Chest.

Follow Drop and read the new page. When you reach the room with Hydro totems, activate 2 of them first, then approach the gate and ask for Drop's help. Take the reward and continue.

After defeating the enemies, you will enter a room with monuments. Ask Drop to check the Hydro totem, and activate the Pyro and Cryo ones yourself. Open the chest, sit on train, and activate the final projector.

How to restore the mural?

Enter the mini-game using the projector.

There, you need to collect all the glowing elements and use them to restore the image by placing them on the corresponding circular platforms (the necessary items will be automatically selected). After completing the restoration, exit the mini-game, and obtain the Luxurious Chest!
