Vivianne of the Lake is a mini-boss introduced in Genshin Impact with the 4.0 update. It resembles a Hydro-elemental creature, appearing throughout the Fontaine region.

Where to Find Vivianne of the Lake

Head north in Court of Fontaine region, to the edge of the map near the remnants of a destroyed bridge. Due to its location, the boss can be easily missed.

How to Defeat Vivianne of the Lake

Vivianne is a Hydro-elemental creature and therefore has immunity to her own element. Consequently, your party should not include a Hydro character unless it's a healer (Barbara, Kokomi). The boss is constantly affected by the "Wet" status – use this to your advantage for powerful Elemental reactions. Recommended elements: Pyro, Dendro, Electro. Teams that utilize Vaporize, Frozen, and Overloaded will deal more damage.

Main Attacks of Vivianne:

- Water Cannon: Fires a barrage of 5 water bubbles that deal AoE damage;

- Water Beam: Follows the player and attacks;

- Impact Wave: Creates a hydro wave along the ground, knocking characters down and dealing significant damage.

The boss is quite tough even for well-leveled characters with high damage output. Stock up on food, bring a healer, and shield characters – Vivianne's attacks are powerful and can easily take down over half of your HP.

However, Vivianne doesn't have complex mechanics to adapt to. Protect yourself with shields, constant healing, and just deal damage – the boss will fall, granting you the "Vivianne of the Lake" achievement and rewarding you with 5 Philosophies of Enlightenment.
