Where is Crimson Quartz located and how to obtain it

When a player starts exploring the Dragonspine area, they will inevitably come across Crimson Quartz. This object can only be found in this location. 

You need to break the Crimson Quartz, and after it is destroyed, it turns into a sphere that you can take with you. It will give you some effects that will help you in the future. You can use the Quartz for personal purposes:

1. In this part of the map, there is ice that cannot be broken with Pyro characters. In this case, Quartz will help you. It breaks the ice with a single strike. With its help, you can melt and break regular ice. 

2. Quartz is excellent for melting the statue of the Archon. It is surrounded by special ice that cannot be melted by Pyro characters. Quartz works perfectly on any ice in the game. 

3. With the help of Crimson Quartz, you can melt the Permafrost Trees. 

How to melt all frozen objects

Shard 1

Head to the vicinity of the Frostbearing Tree. 

Once you reach the highlighted area on the map, you should see a frozen object surrounded by Quartz. To melt the object, you won't need much effort - collect all the Quartz around and break the frost. 

Shard 2

It is located in the Star Glow Cavern. 

Right near the teleportation point, you should see a fragment surrounded by unusual pillars. To successfully solve the puzzle, you need to transform into a Cryo character to freeze the pillars. 

Pay close attention to the fairy flying slightly above the pillars, as it will show you how to freeze them correctly.

When you defeat the enemy, melt the ice and jump down. There will be solid ice around, but that's where the desired fragment is located. To thaw the fragment, you will need Quartz. Collect it around. 

Shard 3

Its location is near the Abyssal Domain. 

Go forward through the tunnels until you reach a huge cave. Enter it and go until you reach a chasm. Descend down, and there you will find the desired fragment. 

So, start the challenge. You have only 3 minutes to complete it, no more. Collect all the rewards from the chest and thaw the fragment using the collected Quartz.
