Where to find all the bobbleheads in Fallout 4: exact location and description.
Pip-Boys play a rather important role in Fallout 4, so we recommend familiarizing yourself in advance with the meaning and location of each one.
In this guide, we will provide detailed information on the purpose of Pip-Boys in Fallout 4, where to find them, and whether it's worth doing so at lower levels. Let's get started!
Pip-Boy Guide in Fallout 4
Who are Pip-Boys and what role do they play in Fallout 4?
In short, Pip-Boys are items that grant various bonuses to your character. In the game Fallout 4, Pip-Boys are divided into 2 types:
- SPECIAL. The word "SPECIAL" is an abbreviation, with each letter representing a separate skill of your character. We have 7 skills, 7 letters, and therefore, 7 Pip-Boys in the game. Each SPECIAL Pip-Boy corresponds to its respective skill and increases it by 1 unit.
- Utility. Utility Pip-Boys provide various buffs and bonuses but do not increase skill levels.
If you do it earlier, for example, at level 9, the threshold for a specific perk will be level 10. However, if you acquire a Pip-Boy at level 10 for a specific perk, it can increase it all the way to level 11!
