Comparison of Elden Ring Performance on Different Platforms

Many gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of the game Elden Ring, which is scheduled for February 25, 2022. More and more information is appearing about the content, gameplay and other components. In particular, technical data has been published for both PC and consoles. Here are some of the specs:

  • Ray tracing will be supported on PC, PS 5 and Xbox Series X. PS 4, PS 4 Pro and Xbox other series will not be able to boast of ray tracing support.
  • HDR will be supported on all platforms, except Xbox One.
  • On PC, the frame rate is up to 60 fps. Up to 30 fps will be on PS 4, PS 4 Pro and Xbox One. On other platforms, the frame rate will depend on the mode. For example, on PS 5 with performance mode it will be up to 60 fps, and in quality mode - up to 30 fps. And on Xbox One X the figure will be up to 30 fps in both modes.
  • As for the resolution, it will be up to 2160p on PC, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X and PS 5. Up to 1080p will be on PS 4. PS 4 Pro has a figure up to 1800p. The resolution up to 900p will be on Xbox One. Finally, the resolution on Xbox Series S will be up to 1440p.
