Caution! Spoilers!

In this guide, you will learn how to unlock the secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077, what you need to do to achieve it, and how to build a good relationship with Johnny.

After visiting the "Voodoo Boys" restaurant, the player will find themselves in a terrible state with Victor. The Ripper offers to finally do something to save their life instead of just wandering around. Misty accompanies us to the roof, where we have a conversation with Johnny. The dialogue options are different depending on the decisions made throughout the game. We will consider the best outcome. In my opinion, this ending is the best because all the others end depressingly regardless of the outcome.

What is necessary to unlock the secret ending? 

1. The first and most important requirement is to have a good relationship with Johnny. From the very beginning of your "pleasant" encounter, try to behave friendly towards him. Don't be rude without reason and don't ignore his advice during quests. However, don't be overly friendly, or Johnny will think you're just a sycophant. There will be a couple of moments in the game where you need to trust him and take the pills for Johnny to take control of your body for a while.

To fulfill this requirement, you need to have at least 70% good relationship with him. To check your current percentage, go to the inventory. At the top, there will be a section called "Happy Moments," and below that, the percentage will be displayed.

2. The second important requirement is to complete the questline for Panam, and most of the side quests because you will occasionally consult with Johnny during the game, which will affect your relationship. 

3. When you visit Johnny's grave, choose the right dialogue options and try not to offend him. DO NOT CALL Johnny a legend. Say that he is the person who saved you.

4. The last requirement is to complete the questline for Bessie, including the final quest where you have a date with her at the drive-in theater. If you are playing as a female character, the date will be slightly unsuccessful, but it will not affect your relationship with Johnny, even though he will be upset.

Important Note - DO NOT ENTER the "Voodoo Boys" restaurant until you have completed Bessie's quests because Johnny will be very angry when you leave the elevator and will say bad things about you. In that case, you may not expect a good ending. Many players think it's possible to enter the restaurant because Bessie doesn't call them. You just need to wait for some time or complete a few side missions. 

Now that we have covered the mandatory requirements, let's move on to the final steps. 

1. When sitting on the rooftop, Johnny will insist on asking for help from Bessie. Click on "I'll trust you and Bessie."

2. Now, don't choose anything and simply wait for exactly 5 minutes. You don't need to keep the camera between Johnny and the gun - you can look anywhere. 

3. After 5 minutes, Johnny will take matters into his own hands and suggest a suicidal plan. Agree to it, and the final mission will begin, leading to the best ending.

It's called a suicidal plan because during this mission, you CANNOT save your progress. It's better to prepare good weapons, cyberware, and upgrade V in advance. Otherwise, you will have to start over because the enemies will be very strong. 

Notes: 

Bessie will not die in this ending. 

If you lose the battle, the credits will roll, and the game will be considered complete.

In this ending, V does not die like in other endings (unless you choose to become part of Alt).
