9 with 1 for Car Mechanic Simulator 2026
Car Mechanic Simulator 2026 system requirements

The Car Mechanic Simulator series has long been one of the most popular automotive simulation franchises. Players are invited to experience what it is like to be a real auto mechanic: disassembling engines, diagnosing faults, restoring classic cars, and even building vehicles from scratch. The new installment — Car Mechanic Simulator 2026 — promises even more detail, realistic physics, improved graphics, and an expanded repair system. However, with these improvements come higher hardware requirements. Below we will take a look at the minimum and recommended system requirements and explain what kind of PC is needed for comfortable gameplay.
Minimum and Recommended System Requirements for Car Mechanic Simulator 2026
Minimum System Requirements
If your computer meets these specifications, the game will launch and run on low to medium graphics settings.
- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit);
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 / AMD Radeon R9 280
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 35–40 GB
With this configuration, you can expect a stable 30–40 FPS at medium settings in Full HD resolution. However, if high graphical fidelity and consistently high frame rates are important to you, this configuration may not be sufficient.
Recommended System Requirements
To achieve the smoothest gameplay experience and enjoy all visual improvements, a more powerful computer is recommended.
- OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 (64-bit);
- Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
- Memory: 16 GB RAM;
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5700;
- DirectX: Version 12;
- Storage: 40 GB (SSD recommended).
This configuration will allow you to play on high graphics settings at 60 FPS or higher.
What Has Changed Compared to the Previous Installment
The previous entry in the series — Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 — was significantly less demanding in terms of hardware. However, in the new installment the developers have taken a noticeable step forward:
- More detailed car models;
- Improved textures for parts and interiors;
- Updated workshop lighting system;
- More advanced simulation of damage and part wear;
- Expanded repair animations.
All of this enhances realism, but it also requires a more powerful graphics card and a larger amount of RAM.
Expected FPS Performance
Approximate performance on different configurations:
- GTX 1060 / RX 580 — around 45–60 FPS on medium settings;
- RTX 2060 / RX 5700 — 60+ FPS on high settings;
- RTX 3060 and above — comfortable gameplay on ultra settings.
Car Mechanic Simulator 2026 continues to evolve the formula of the series and offers a deeper and more realistic experience of running an auto repair workshop. Despite the improved graphics, the game remains accessible for most modern PCs.
If your computer is at the level of a GTX 1060 or better, you should be able to play without issues. Owners of more powerful systems will be able to fully enjoy all the visual improvements introduced in the new installment.
