The Double-Barrelled Shotgun and Pump-Action Shotgun are among the most powerful weapons in the game and excel at dealing with any enemies, including bosses. You won't be able to obtain them right away. Saga Anderson and Alan Wake have different ways of obtaining their weapons. In this guide, you will learn where to find the weapons for each of the characters.

Double-Barrelled Shotgun for Alan

You can first find the shotgun during the "Return 4: No Chance" mission. Just go forward, and at the exit of the building, you will find it next to a corpse.

While exploring The Dark Place for Alan, in the "Initiation 5: Room 665" mission, you will find yourself near the Oceanview Hotel.

The building itself will be inaccessible, but we don't need it to obtain the shotgun. Head to the Mirror Peak bar. It will be closed, but it has access to the veranda. Look inside through the barred window and see the shotgun. Use the Angel Lamp to transform the location and open the entrance to the bar. 

Enter the room and again use the lamp. The shotgun will be hanging on the wall. 

Pump-Action Shotgun for Saga

You can find the weapon during the "Return 6: Scratch" mission at the police station. It will be hanging behind the showcase in Sheriff Tim Breaker's office. 

First, you need to find Agent Kiran Estevez; she will give you the keys to the office. 

The showcase with the shotgun has a combination lock. To find it, solve the puzzle using hints from the sheet. 

On it, you will see Latin letters and numbers. The correct order is hidden among the books nearby. The letters are: Q, B, W. Match them with the numbers and get the code - 723.
