Cops and Driving

Long before the announcement of patch 1.2, developers stated that they would fix the cop bug. The issue was as follows: a cop would appear behind the player, and there was no way to avoid it.

Everything related to controls and evasion mechanics should be fixed in the patch. A new wheel has also been added to the driving mechanics, which controls steering sensitivity. An update has been implemented in the code to ensure smooth driving at extremely high frame rates.

A feature has been added to the game that allows you to rock a stuck vehicle to get it unstuck.

In addition, in Cyberpunk 2077, the reticles will no longer disappear at the most inconvenient moments, and you will be able to adjust the turret's rate of fire on a helicopter. A significant number of bugs that plagued gamers and prevented them from enjoying the gameplay will be fixed.

Open World, Quests, and Design

The developers have put considerable effort into improving quests. For example, it is no longer possible to destroy posters in advance and thereby deprive yourself of the unique opportunity to obtain the "Conflict Power" rifle.

There is another important change in the game: weapon extraction and River Ward's behavior when he follows you in the "Hunting the Hunter" mission. Previously, he would call you, but you couldn't answer the phone or decline the call.

In turn, the open world shocked everyone with its number of errors present in the game. Developers have resolved most of the issues, resulting in significantly fewer memes about the game.

A large number of issues related to NPC interactions will be fixed. The creators have also hinted at the possibility of improving the mechanics of NPC reactions, including those who flee from traffic accidents.

Cinematic design is one of the game's Achilles' heels, so the developers have made an effort to fix many shortcomings and bugs. NPCs will no longer be able to walk in the air, and camera and posing issues have been addressed. You won't have to complain about animation desynchronization anymore.

That's all we know about the new patch of fixes at the moment.
