I really enjoyed having dialogues with him and teasing him in certain moments. The old man didn't understand jokes, but it looked quite amusing. So I wondered - can he be saved? In this case, saving Takemura is a secret development option.

After you wake up, Johnny will swear at us to hurry towards the exit. Let's not rush to do that. When you reach the room with the neon crosses, squeeze through the gap on the left.

Next, you will encounter "Arasaka" guards. Deal with them and run to the second floor. There will be enemies there too.

As we can see, the secret objective "Attempt to save Takemura" has been revealed. Run down the corridor, killing enemies, and enter the room where Takemura is fending off the guards. Help him.

The old man is clearly shocked by this outcome, but don't listen to him. Now you just need to get him out of the building. When you regroup and split up, Takemura won't forget this act and will stay in constant contact with you until the end of the game. Moreover, he'll send his strange and amusing messages.
