Genshin Impact on Epic Games for PC: Release Date, Version, and More.

Genshin Impact announced its upcoming debut in Epic Games, which will bring even more players to the game.

Mihoyo made the official announcement on Twitter along with a promo code that is yet to be activated. Epic Games also confirmed on their website that Genshin Impact will soon be available on their platform.

Release Date of Genshin Impact in Epic Games Announced

Genshin Impact will be available in Epic Games starting June 9, 2021, which coincides with the version 1.6 update.

Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact is likely to contain the biggest update in months. New islands and quests in the Archipelago of Inazuma will soon be available.

Some thought that due to Genshin Impact debuting in Epic Games, some sort of cross-event would occur. Naturally, the most popular game on Epic Games is Fortnite, however, at this time any collaboration events are just speculation.

According to Genshin Impact's tweet, “GenshinEpic” is the promo code that players will be able to activate on June 9, although there were no details on the code in the Genshin Impact Twitter. It is also unclear if all players will be able to use the code, or only those who downloaded Genshin Impact from Epic Games.
