The event is available to players who meet the following conditions:

• Adventure Rank: 20+;
• Completed the Archon Quest: "Song of the Dragon and Freedom."

For a complete immersion in the quest's story, it is recommended to complete the Archon Quest "Masquerade of the Guilty" and the Furina quest to avoid spoilers of the main plot twists.

The Crack of Muskets Breaking the Silence: Walkthrough

The quest will appear in the quest list automatically after the start of the server-time event. Paimon will suggest that the Traveler take a walk through the streets of Cour de Fontaine in anticipation of a loud event that the whole city is buzzing about.

Head to Cour de Fontaine Square

During the walk, you will encounter an old acquaintance – Xavier, who has found himself in an unpleasant situation. He is responsible for organizing the Fontinalia Film Festival, but the main investor let him down, and now Xavier has to deal with the already hired actors and the costume designer himself.

Fontinalia Film Festival is a celebration in memory of the legendary Knights of the Clear Springs, who went in search of Oceaniads and celebrated the return of the Hydro Archon Egeria. This day is closely related to the founding of Fontaine, its special laws, and jurisprudence. The Fontinalia Festival is one of the most important state holidays that cannot be allowed to fail.

Xavier asks the Traveler for assistance – to meet the actors who have arrived from Inazuma and inform the costume designer about what happened.

Head to the Main Aquabus Station on the Clementine Line

Firstly, you need to meet Chiori – a fashionable designer from Inazuma. Go to the center of Cour de Fontaine and take the elevator up one floor. Right at the exit, you will meet the new acquaintance. Approach the girl to greet her.

Xavier will inform Chiori about the problems with investors. The girl will hint that this was to be expected. At this time, the actors from Inazuma will approach. It turns out that they are your old friends – Ayato, Ayaka, and Yoimiya.

Head to "Debord Hotel"

Enter "Debord Hotel" to have lunch with the whole company. Xavier will explain the financing problems to the actors and apologize for not being able to pay for their work. Ayaka, Ayato, and Yoimiya confess that the material part does not interest them – the actors wanted to refuse the fee immediately. Chiori also decides to forgive Xavier's debt and help him with the filming.

There is only one problem left – finding other specialists who will help organize the shooting.

Head Home to Furina

An excellent candidate for the role of the director is Furina. Go to Vasari Passage and follow the marker to find the girl. Furina agrees to help, but for this, you need to do her a small favor. 

Complete Furina's Directorial Task

Furina will give you a "test assignment" and ask you to shoot a presentation video for Mistress Estelle's workshop. This is a mini-game that you need to complete according to the following principle:

• Familiarize yourself with the description of each scene;

• Choose 3 frames for each scene from the suggested ones;
• Select voiceover text that fits the scene in meaning;

• To view the result, click: "Start Shooting."

In essence, you can choose any frames and camera angles. The approval of your work depends on how much Furina will like it. In any case, she will accept the result and agree to participate in the shooting.

Find Captain Shevroe of the Special Patrol

Next, you need to hire a stunt coordinator. Perfect for this role is Shevroe – the commander of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol.

You can find the girl in the opposite part of Cour de Fontaine, which will be indicated on the map. Watch the unfolding scene: Shevroe apprehends criminals. Wait until everyone leaves and talk to the commander. She kindly agrees to help you, but for this, she will need your assistance in investigating a mysterious murder.

After talking to all the characters and gathering the missing workers, the quest will be completed, and the next mission will begin – "Fiction and Reality Inside and Outside the Frame".
