Blood bags in Valheim will be needed for crafting various useful recipes. They can be found in the swampy area, however, leeches and leeches are not the most pleasant creatures, the collection of their blood takes some time.

Where to find blood bags

Let's start with leeches: go to the swamp biome. Leeches swim in the water and occasionally pop up when they are not approached too closely. To avoid damage, kill the leech at a distance with a bow, then dive and take your blood bag.

If you want to speed up the process - create yourself a place to sleep near the swamp pond. Build a stone platform extending from the house right to the water. 

Leeches will immediately come out of their water holes, and since your hero will be high, they will not be able to bite and attack.
