With this mod for Mount And Blade Bannerlord, you no longer need horses when you upgrade your troops to cavalry (as it was in previous parts of the game).

Unlock all soldiers in cities and villages, so you can hire/recruit them without improving your relations with the locals.

Now if the shield is simply on your back, it will still block arrows/strikes as in the case of use. Of course, only strikes from behind are blocked.

Battle Buddies is a mod for Mount And Blade Bannerlord that improves the relationship system. It's also annoying that your relationships with people are constantly deteriorating. You are kind - someone doesn't like it, if you are not kind - you will not be loved by those around you. With this mod, your relationships with people (family/clan members, nobility) will improve with each battle won and tournament victory.
