Just Enough Items (JEI) is a very popular mod for Minecraft that adds a special menu where you can view all items, their crafting recipes, and their uses. In the inventory:
- Hover over an item and press R to view the crafting recipe;
- Hover over an item and press U to view the item's use.
- Toggle the item menu on/off: CTRL + O.
In the item menu:
- Click on an item or press R to view the recipe;
- Right-click on an item or press U to view the use;
- Mouse wheel: switch pages;
- Enable cheat mode: hold CTRL and click on the wrench icon in the corner;
- Search: CTRL + F;
- To search by mod: type @ and the mod name in the search bar.
