One of the most popular mods for Kenshi increases the maximum squad size from 30 to 256 recruits. Squads now consist of 50 NPCs instead of 20, and the maximum number of squads has been increased from 10 to 20. Note that the squad size is not just set to 30, as lag may start to occur.
