Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - an upcoming action-adventure game release from Bethesda Softworks and developer MachineGames. 

Recall that in September 2023 another game release from Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield, made waves, garnering mixed reviews. The exact release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is currently unknown, but according to the developers, it's expected in 2024. Many users are skeptical of this statement. The reason being the repeated delays of Starfield and its prolonged release. 

Let's delve into what to expect from Bethesda's new project.

What Is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle About?

It's not hard to guess that Bethesda's new game is based on the globally renowned franchise dedicated to the adventures of archaeologist Henry Walton (Dr. Henry Walton). The game's plot is original and not tied to any existing films in the "Indiana Jones" series. This means that players and fans of the series can expect a new, previously unrevealed story about their beloved hero. 

The events take place chronologically between the two films "Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". The period is 1937, shortly before the start of World War II. It's known that the antagonists will be the alliance of three countries against which the anti-Hitler coalition fought: Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and the Japanese Empire. 

The game's plot is a direct continuation of the second movie. After the theft of an artifact, Indiana Jones heads to the Vatican to conduct his own investigation. Throughout the adventure, the main character is accompanied by the daring journalist Gina Lombardi, who wants to capture everything that happens and get unique material. Together, they oppose the main antagonist - the charismatic manipulator Emmerich Voss, who uses the vilest methods to confound the heroes. 

How successful is Bethesda's concept and will the project be as problematic, or even by some opinions, as disastrous as Starfield? Will the developers be able to capture the atmosphere of the time and Indiana Jones' adventures? Will this story be a worthy addition to the franchise and warmly welcomed by fans?
