How to complete The Simulated Universe Swarm Disaster in Honkai Star Rail: best teams, tips and more
The Simulated Universe Swarm Disaster in Honkai Star Rail is a new high-level (for the average player) difficulty mode introduced in update 1.3. Currently, there are 5 difficulty levels available, and more content will likely be added in the future. In this guide, we will discuss how to pass the Swarm Disaster in Star Rail and what teams to use if you're constantly getting defeated.
How to Pass the Swarm Disaster in Honkai Star Rail
Strategy for Passing the Swarm Disaster in Star Rail
Although there are 5 levels, we have developed a strategy that works on all difficulty levels. Of course, much depends on the level of your heroes, so we can't promise guaranteed success on level 5 after reading this guide.
Key rules for passing the Swarm Disaster in Star Rail:
- Choose the Path of Abundance
Before entering the first zone, choose the Path of Abundance. This path is good because, as a blessing after completing rooms, it often provides "Mercy," which doesn't decrease your counts but, on the contrary, increases them. Try to move only on green zones to keep the number of moves at a maximum.
- Mix Your Path
In the Swarm, there is an interesting feature - double or even triple Blessing paths. For example, by collecting 3 Blessings of Abundance in a row and receiving a bonus, you can unlock additional paths. To do this, collect 3 Blessings of something else in a row (for example, Preservation). This way, you'll multiply the benefits of collecting Blessings, and your character will become much more powerful.
- Every Battle Matters
If your characters are strong enough, defeat all enemies in sight to collect as many Blessings and Curio as possible because this is the true path to success. Don't skip Event zones, gifts, and more.
- If You Die - Shield and Heal Your Friends
If you don't have a strong DPS, you'll need to include both a healer and a shield in your team.
Best Teams for Passing the Swarm Disaster in Star Rail
Let's be frank; the toughest enemy is the final boss. Beetles have resistance to Imaginary and Quantum damage, so it's best to build a team based on this information.
If you have a DPS of a different element and you have Silver Wolf, your options are vast; simply choose your favorite DPS, regardless of the element.
Example squads for passing:
A budget squad example with Seele.
A budget Imaginary team; you can replace Dan Heng with Welt or another Imaginary/Quantum DPS.
A non-budget team Imbibitor. You can use many different characters as sub-DPS depending on your build and situation. Instead of a sub-DPS, you can also use another strong DPS of any element (if they are very powerful, they will be useful against bosses along the way).
We hope this guide helps you. Good luck!
