Throughout your journey in Grime you will need projectiles to save yourself from certain death. When you take your first steps in the game, you will be dropped claws from defeated enemies.

What are claws used for in Grime?

Claws in Grime are throwing projectiles that can be used at any time if they are in your inventory. These severed fingers can deal a small amount of damage with each hit, but they are mostly used to draw the attention of an enemy. You can throw a claw by selecting a direction on the crosshair.

For example, one of the targets you can attack is an enemy with red spikes protruding from it. By using a claw, you can draw its attention without taking any damage. When the enemy starts to approach you, use a quick attack with the X button and then quickly jump back with the B button, taking a step back.

If you have low health and the boss is just a few steps away from defeat - a claw will also come in handy.
