How long will it take to complete Ghost of Tsushima?

If you want to fully immerse yourself in the world of Ghost of Tsushima and complete it 100%, be prepared to spend 40-50 hours doing so. That's how much time players on average spent completing the game, considering the main story and additional quests.

Let's delve into what makes up this amount of hours and how much content awaits you.

How many quests are in Ghost of Tsushima

With the prologue included, there are 25 unique story quests available in the game. You can have multiple active missions at once if they don't overlap with each other. For example, some side quests are only available after completing specific story quests. You can't unlock them through alternative means bypassing the main quest. Completing 1 story mission takes on average 1-1.5 hours. The prologue takes the most time. Side quests, however, won't take much time - some of them are very short.

There are significantly more 61 side missions in Ghost of Tsushima. The entire story is divided into 3 main acts and 1 side act.

It's not necessary to complete the side quests to progress through the game. It's enough to finish the main storyline. However, this may result in a reduced gaming experience - Ghost of Tsushima has a lot to offer, and side quests allow you to explore every corner of the open world.

Earlier, we've already discussed how Ghost of Tsushima on PC will differ from the console version. Specifically in the storyline, there won't be any difference - the story of both versions is identical, so the number of hours to complete it won't change.

However, if you want to complete not only the story but also the entire map: explore all locations, interact with all NPCs, find all items, equipment, and leave no area unexplored, then you'll need more time - 70-80 hours. It all depends on the speed and intensity of your playthrough.
