The Toy War: Shots Fired - the first quest in the story cycle "The Toy War" within the new event Mega Meka Melee. It appears in the quest list immediately after you start the game following the official event launch. 

How to Start "The Toy War: Shots Fired"

You've received an assignment from Leschots's Workshop, the wind-up mechanism workshop. They may be facing difficulties - find out about it. The quest will appear automatically and be displayed on the map. Head to the heart of the Court of Fontaine. 

How to Complete "The Toy War: Shots Fired"

Go to Leschots's Workshop

Locate the workshop and find the arguing Arbon and Alberre.

Speak to the Workshop Workers

Arbon and Alberre will tell the Traveler a bit more about Fontaine's legal system, judges, and judicial duels. They will attempt to manipulate the Traveler and confuse them. Listen to their conversation, after which you'll be invited to go to the nearby workshop and talk to Caron. 

Go to the Atelier of the Watchful Beauty

The workshop is marked on the map with an alchemy symbol as an alchemical furnace is nearby. Approach the counter and talk to the owner - Caron. 

Speak to Caron, the Workshop Owner

Caron will talk about the new toys being produced in the workshop. You'll learn more about his strained relationship with his brother, and Caron will suggest trying out the very alchemical toy they're discussing. But first, you need to report the information you received to Arbon and Alberre. 

Return to Leschots's Workshop

Return to the place where you first spoke to Arbon and Alberre. Beside them, you'll find the boss they mentioned earlier - the owner of the workshop, Livre. He wants to steal the idea of an alchemical toy that his brother Caron invented. Paimon and the Traveler will call him a scoundrel, but it seems that Livre is far from offended by that. 

After the dialogue, you'll gain access to event mini-games and the continuation of the event. The quest will be considered completed.
