As mentioned before, Primogems are used to claim rewards from domains, bosses, and Ley Lines. After defeating a boss or enemies at Ley Lines, a flower will appear, and you need to use Primogems to unlock it. 

It is important to spend Primogems, as they are essential for collecting artifacts, ascension materials, Mora, and character-leveling books. If you have reached a sufficient level and can craft Resin in the alchemy stations of Mondstadt/Liyue, it is recommended to focus on that. How often does Primogems refresh in Genshin Impact?

One Primogem refreshes every 8 minutes, up to a maximum of 160. With this recovery rate, you can comfortably spend 180 Primogems per day/1260 per week.

Therefore, don't forget to spend your accumulated Primogems every day, as they don't carry over, and your reserves will disappear!
