Court Session between Linni and Furina – a pivotal part of the "Prelude of White Dews and Black Waves" quest. The setup is that during the magician Linni's performance on stage, a murder occurred. The main suspect is Linni himself, who insists on his innocence.

The Traveler's task: uncover what really happened on stage and identify who is involved in the assistant's murder.

Choosing Evidence

The trial takes place at the Epiclaz Opera House. Return to the hall to continue the process and select evidence.

Furina will present her accusation. You'll see them as a circle of gears with 5 key events where you need to find contradictions.

Here's how to do it:

• Click on the event you want to refute;
• Click on the evidence that will contradict Furina's argument;
• Click on "Contradict".

Don't worry if you make a mistake. The Traveler will sense that something isn't right and give you another chance until you get it right. Essentially, you can't lose here.

Actions in the Tunnel

The first thing to figure out is what happened in the tunnel beneath the stage when Linni was in the ventilation shaft.

In this chain, you can refute only 2 events, but that will be enough:

• Linni hit Cowell – choose the discarded clothing as evidence;
• Linni kidnapped the girl Halsey – choose the fact of a strange sound from the tunnel as evidence.

After making your choices, a cutscene will play, in which Paimon presents Furina with the true version of events.

Proving Linni Wasn't in the Tunnel

Choose the argument: "Strange Sound During the Performance." All those present in the hall will corroborate this fact and agree with the Traveler's argument.

Who's the Murderer?

Next, solve the logical puzzle by connecting 6 different facts. No matter which options you choose, eventually the chain will reach a dead-end – a crucial link is missing. Simply try each option.

The only question you won't be able to answer is: what happened to the missing girl Halsey and how did she disappear?

The Traveler will ponder again and discover a new fact: a broken vase with spilled water.

Cowell's Criminal Plan

You'll need to reconstruct the criminal's plan and match the questions with physical evidence.

• Main suspect – Cowell;
• How the criminal controlled the dissolution time – hook;
• What the criminal used to dissolve Halsey – Water of the Primeval Sea;
• What object concealed the mechanism of the crime – a magical box in which Halsey entered.

Now you're left with two main events to interpret:

• Halsey dissolved. Evidence – Strange Sound;
• Linni and Cowell argued. Evidence – broken vase;
• Linni hit Cowell – the girl's discarded clothing.

At the end of the trial, Furina will reluctantly admit defeat, and Linni's reputation will be restored.
