How to Obtain and Open the Quest "Dainsleif, We Will Meet Again"

So, all you need is to have at least Adventure Rank 36 and completed the following missions:

• Wolf of the North. Chapter I;
• Book I. Chapter IV - "Guardian of the Dainsleif Branch".

Walkthrough of "Dainsleif, We Will Meet Again"

This mission consists of a series of quests. Each of them will be discussed separately in this article.

Forced Sacrifice

To begin, go to the notice board near the Guild in Liyue. There, find Ganyu and Miss Lan and talk to them. 

Next, head to the ruins of the "Abyss's Call" where you will find Treasure Hoarders attacking them.

After defeating the first wave of mobs, you will discover that the quests of the Marvelous Merchandise have not been abandoned after all. Be careful, as you will have to dodge bubbles that will roll towards your character. To avoid being trapped by them, stick close to one of the walls. 

Have you reached the next chamber? Congratulations! Before you is a strange scene: a treasure hoarder frozen in one position and an Archon statue. Examine the place thoroughly and claim your next achievements. This time: "Madmen, Bandits, and Dark Secrets" and "Crossroads of Destiny". 

At one point, you will realize that the room is gradually collapsing. Quickly leave the room by running to the left and upwards while dodging the bubbles. 

The final room awaits you with the boss, the Abyss Herald. However, unfortunately, you won't be able to defeat him as he will escape at around 40% HP. He will tell you that he has come to understand the Traveler's power. 

As soon as you exit the ruins, Dainsleif will be waiting for you. He knows all about the Abyss Herald, and he will invite you to follow him. 

Herald without Followers

Defeat all the monsters indicated by Dainsleif and then start a conversation with him. 

You will follow your guide, and there will be an even greater number of monsters waiting for you. After that, calmly listen about the mystical connection between the Abyss Order and Khaenri'ah. 

Now you can move to the next designated point. As usual, defeat all the monsters that will attack you. 

In this segment, you will receive an achievement after one of the monsters drops an amulet. Pick it up and discuss what is happening with your companion. 

Disgraced Challenge

Near the Favonius Cathedral, have a conversation with Dainsleif, and then go inside to talk to Barbara.

You will discuss the missing statues and legends of past times in Mondstadt. Now you can return to Dainsleif and accompany him to Wolvendom, where you will become involved in the Abyss Order's operation. Defeat all the enemies and then talk to Dain and Zhin. 

When you arrive at the Wolvendom arena, you will encounter the Abyss Herald as well as the imprisoned Boreas and Razor. Defeat all the enemies you see to stop this dreadful ceremony. Finally, ask the Wolf Lord about the "Cultivator" and head towards your companion. 

Separated Souls

At this stage, investigate the "Cultivator" and its "Eye," which are located in the Stormterror's Lair. After that, you need to go to the ruins at the very beginning, where you will have to destroy the aforementioned Archon statue. 

Be vigilant and cautious as you will encounter magical orbs along the way - avoid them, but this time you need to fly over them. 

Once you reach the hall with the Archon, the Abyss Herald will be waiting there. This time your task is to defeat the boss and two other mages who will be with him. When the boss loses 90% of his HP, he will try everything to escape, but Dainsleif won't let him. Lumine, the Traveler's sister, will appear from the rift. It turns out she is a good acquaintance of your companion and the monsters recognize her as their leader. 

Next, Lumine will tell you that Dainsleif is a representative of Khaenri'ah and he couldn't help his nation survive. as soon as she finishes her story, she will immediately go into the rift created by the Herald, and Dainsleif will jump after her.

You will receive the following rewards: 

1. 60 Primogems;

2. Materials for talent leveling;

3. Unique Chest;

4. Achievements "Extinguish the Light, Go on a Journey" and "We Will Meet Again".
