The end of the Ann of Narcissenkreitz questline is easy to reach: just like any adventure, it has a way of concluding. Unlike other quest locations, you could access this one right after completing Traces of the Tide. However, for the sake of completeness, let's go through the path again. Well, there's no need to wander aimlessly; let's move on to the acclaimed epilogue.

How to Get the "Unfinished Story" Quest

There are two important conditions for obtaining it - completing the "Tide tracks" quest and the entire prior "Ann of Narcissenkreitz" questline (meaning all the previous quests). It will appear in your menu later when you arrive at the destination independently.

How to Complete the "Unfinished Story" Quest

It's more appropriate to call this an clarification of rare nuances because there aren't that many variables in the quest.

As mentioned earlier, you'll head there on your own, without a quest marker. You may know the meeting place from the achievement "Encyclopedia of Natural Philosophy" (it will appear below). For those who don't know, let me remind you of the route that starts from the teleportation point located in the institute (see the screenshot).

From here, run forward, into the arch, towards the table. The book will become a teleporter.

Almost instantly, a short cutscene should start, followed by a dialogue. Now you have the last chance for a heart-to-heart conversation with the Oceaniid (the dialogue may vary slightly depending on your progress in the "Ancient colors" quest). In return, you will receive the aforementioned achievement, 30 Primogems, 200 Adventure EXP, 15,000 Mora, and 2 Hero's Wit.

Both the achievement (if you visit the room for the first time) and the precious chest are one-time rewards. The precious chest contains 20,000 Mora and an "Withered shell," while the "Key to Something in the Institute" is hidden inside the rich chest (you can find more information about its use in the hidden achievements guide under the title "How to Obtain the Achievement "Sketch in black tones").

The final stretch of the final stretch will finish. At the current moment (version 4.0), there is no continuation of the quest. As additional acts are added - if they actually happen - guides will be released, so no one will be left in ignorance or disappointment. Good luck, and until we meet again!
