Splendor of Tranquil Waters in Genshin Impact: full guide

Splendor of Tranquil Waters is Furine's signature weapon in Genshin Impact. Like any event weapon, it has a fairly high substat limit and passive weapon affix characteristics, so it can find applications in many situations. We'll tell you exactly where in this guide.

How to Obtain Splendor of Tranquil Waters in Genshin Impact

Just like any signature weapon for an event character, this weapon systematically accompanies the character within the weapon banner simultaneously with the event banner. The same will be true for Furine - in version 4.2, we will be able to see the Archon in one of the updates, along with her "Splendor of Tranquil Waters".

Who Benefits from Splendor of Tranquil Waters

The sword is most advantageous for Nilou, Alhaitham, and, of course, Furine herself. These three primarily require everything the sword can offer: Nilou, although often ignoring critical damage in her usual build (though she can still utilize it through a hybrid approach, not only with "puddles" but also with the less common Hydro attacks, which, by the way, also count as an elemental skill, meaning they benefit greatly from the passive); Alhaitham, though indifferent to changes in HP levels in himself and his squad (though we shouldn't forget about Kuki Shinobu's support, but we'll talk about her later), benefits nicely from the buff to his main damage type - Mirrors; and, of course, Furine, who successfully applies the sword's abilities in any combat situation and with any Arkhe.

To a lesser extent but still benefiting from the synergy are Hydro and Dendro Traveler, Kuki Shinobu, Kirara/Ayato, Lynette, and Layla - in that order. These heroes either satisfy the sword's needs with their squads (such as Bloom, which periodically lowers the team's health just by existing) or use the sword adequately due to selectively appropriate characteristics. For example, Ayato, who deals damage with regular attacks, can still wield this blade because of its high critical damage stat and the not-so-useless HP scaling increase in the skill ().

Also, remember that the list may include any character in need of at least the aforementioned critical damage or decent base attack (higher than most 4-stars but lower than most 5-stars).

Good luck with your choice!
