"Cupid's Lover" is a quest in Genshin Impact that continues the questline "Search in the Algae Sea." During this mission, you will need to find the third seal and continue the restoration of the Miraculous Sword of Narzissenkreuz.

Find the Seal

Head to the East Slopes of Mont Automnequi. Glide down to see the cave entrance. Don't miss the Hydroculus.

Study the Inscription on the Stone Tablet

Go inside and read the riddle on the stone tablet. It will be located not on a stone column as usual but between the crates. The correct answer to the riddle is provided by the dog Seymour: love. This answer corresponds to the quest's title.

Dive underwater and swim down to a closed passage with a barrier that you need to remove.

Find the Way Forward

At the bottom, an automatic cannon will start targeting you – be careful. Take the receiving node lying nearby and insert it into the cannon to stop the shots. Use the disarmed cannon to shoot at the barrier.

Solve Ortant's Riddle

Interact with the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus and use its ability on the device next to the green crystal. Turn the valve on the device towards the wall, and blue light will appear. Swim to the adjacent device and release energy without changing direction. Interact with the last mechanism.

To proceed, you'll need a Special Key. You can obtain it near the Hydroculus located in the central chamber. Mechs (Mek) will attack you – fend them off to reach the key.

Return and connect the remaining streams. Use the elevator and descend. Interact with the crystal and activate the orange light to raise the grate. Swim forward, absorb the ability of the Xenochromatic Jellyfish. Throw a bomb to reactivate the crystal and change the light to blue. Release the energy and return using the teleporter that appeared. Above, channel the energy flow to the node.

Obtain a Part of the Soul

Return to the central mechanism and collect the third seal. The quest will be completed, and the next, final mission in the seal-searching chain, "Thalia and Melpomene," will begin.
