How to Start the Trick Shots, Tricky Lights Trial

Trick Shots, Tricky Lights unlock after completing the first story quest of the event - The Crack of Muskets Breaking the Silence. An introductory mini-quest, "Special Lighting and the Stars of Tomorrow!" will appear in the quest journal.

Xtreme Drive: Walkthrough

Trick Shots, Tricky Lights is a classic combat trial. All you need to do is defeat enemies as quickly as possible to increase your score. To achieve this, you need to assemble a team that complements each level's buffs.

An additional ability to aid in level completion is the cannon skill – Special Lighting. When activated, the entire team receives a boost, and elemental statuses appear on enemies.

To receive all rewards for each level, you need to score at least 4000 points. Depending on the number of points collected, you will be awarded a bronze, silver, gold, or diamond medal.

Night Trial in Pouring Rain

A Stormy Encounter on a Stormier Night – the first level of the trial. Many elemental creatures will appear in the arena. The quickest way to defeat them is through reactions.

Test characters provided: Ayaka and Barbara.

Enemies:

• Mitachurls;
• Fungus;
• Shrooms;
• Abyss Mages;
• Hilichurls.

Buff: "Penetrating Icy Beams" - summons a Hydro wave attacking enemies and increases Cryo damage of allies by 40%.

Recommended Team:

• Main DPS – Ayaka or any other Cryo character;
• Support Character, for example, Shenhe for additional Cryo damage buff, or Rosaria;
• Hydro Character for freezing. You can take Barbara as a trial character who will periodically heal the entire team;
• Crowd Control like Venti, Kazuha, or Sucrose.

The trial is quite straightforward. It's easy to group Shrooms and deal area damage. Mitachurls are stronger and deliver more powerful attacks. The Freeze reaction will come in handy in this case.

In this scenario, the Special Lighting ability will provide an additional Hydro status – don't forget to activate it.

Furious Clash of Rage

A Furious Clash of Rage – the second level, available immediately after completing the first. If you start playing the event from the beginning, you'll have to wait for access to the third and subsequent levels.

Test characters: Pyro-archer Yoimiya and Geo-spear user Yun Jin.

Enemies:

• Ruin Guard;
• Ruin Drake – Earthguard;
• Anemo Hilichurl Rogue Enemy;
• Specialist Mek;
• Geovishap.

Buff: hitting an enemy with a normal attack creates a shockwave dealing true damage to nearby enemies. Characters who play through normal attacks and use them as their main source of damage are prioritized.

Recommended Team:

• Main DPS playing through normal attacks. Yoimiya is an excellent choice;
• Support Character: Yun Jin;
• Hydro Applicator providing the status: Xingqiu, Yelan;
• Another support character of your choice: Bennett, Zhongli, Mona, etc.

The shielded enemy is particularly effective against the powerful attacks of Ruin Guard, Ruin Drake, and Specialist Meks. If you fail to dodge and get hit by a series of attacks, you may quickly lose characters. Level advantage: large enemies appear individually, making it much easier to deal with them, especially with Yoimiya's archery.
