In the game Genshin Impact, torn notes play a role as certain bonuses that can be used to obtain various valuable items, including Crimson Agate. They are considered collectible items and scattered throughout Dragonspine.

In this guide, we will tell you where to find all the torn notes in Genshin Impact and how to solve the water puzzle. Let's get started!

Locations of All Torn Notes on the Map

So, if you want to eventually unlock the chest, you simply need to find the torn notes in a specific order (see the screenshot).

When searching for the second and third scroll, activate the elemental sight.

Where to Find the First Torn Note

For the first note, head to the Submerged City outskirts (southern part). To reach the specified location, you will have to solve a "water puzzle".

How to Drain the Water?

To complete the task, you will need a Cryo character who can destroy 4 totems in a specific sequence (see the images), two of which are located at high points. Soon, you will need to interact with the unlocked cube.

How to Open the Cage and Melt the Ice?

First, activate the switch located in the channel. After that, collect all the Crimson Quartz and strike the rock with a sword. Then, activate the switch in the upper part of the channel. After completing all the aforementioned actions, the cage doors will soon open before you!

Where to Find the Second Torn Note

Make sure to activate the elemental sight as mentioned above. Follow the water and soon you will come across the third scroll.

Where to Find the Third Torn Note

You need to reach the point on the coast marked in the screenshot below. You can get there from the nearest teleport point (just walk along the coast for a bit). Once you reach the scroll and examine it, choose the "Investigate" option. Immediately after that, you will have access to a magnificent chest containing the following: Crimson Agate, a lot of experience, 1800 Mora, and more. Enjoy your progress!
