Ayaqi's Ult in Genshin Impact: How to Properly Use the Ult Against Large Enemies
24 jun 2021 at 13:05
In this guide we will tell you how to properly hit large enemies such as Mitachurls etc. (this method is not effective against larger enemies such as Lavachurls).
Aya's Ultimate does not work 100% on large enemies
Here's what you need to know about Aya's Ultimate:
- Large enemies mentioned above will remain in a stunned state for a certain amount of time, after which they will become weakened for ~2 seconds.
- When large enemies are in a stunned state, the Aya's elemental explosion will not be able to fully unfold - Souken Gate will not push them back, instead it will pass through and the damage will not be full.
- Weakened enemies will be pushed back by Souken Gate (Aya's elemental gates), allowing you to inflict full damage.
- Souken Gate cannot pass through enemies that are frozen or petrified.
- It is also important to choose the right position, not to become too/close/back to the enemy, so that the Aya's elemental gates do not pass by.
In short - in the weakened state of a large enemy, the Ultimate of Aya unfolds not 100%.
How to get around this?
- The first method we are offered is to take Jun Li or Sin Tsu in the squad to constantly freeze.
- The second method is to petrify the enemy, for example, with Jun Li, and then use Q Aya, which will already inflict 20 blows.
Keep the enemy in a frozen or petrified state - then its resistance will be 0 for 2 seconds. It is at this moment that the Aya attack will inflict unimaginable damage.
