If you prefer to play alone, without an online component, or just want to play with mods but are afraid of being blocked - you will need to disable the anticheat in Elden Ring. In this small guide we will figure out how to do it. In fact, everything is very simple, follow the instructions below:

• Go to the path xxxxx\ELDEN RING\Game\;
• Create a file steam_appid.txt;
• Rename the file start_protected_game to start_protected_game.old;
• Create a copy of the eldenring.exe file, rename this copy to start_protected_game;
• Run the game through this file (in the menu you will see the inscription Inappropriate activity detected - this is normal). 

That's it, you have successfully disabled the anticheat. Now you can play with various mods in peace.
