How to fix Account Locked, Please Wait a Few Minutes (395002) bug in Diablo 4

The fresh project Diablo 4 has encountered several technical issues, including problems with user accounts. Many players are facing situations where the game won't allow them to log in to the server and displays errors like "account blocked" or "queue for login." There are several methods to address this issue, but not all of them may yield results.

How to fix "Account Blocked" issue in Diablo 4

Restart

Standard practice for resolving technical issues in any video game. When encountering an error during server login, simply log out of the account and attempt to reconnect. Even better, the player can perform a router restart and relaunch the entire Battle.net client.

Check Internet Connection

The player may not notice that their connection to the network has been lost. In such cases, an error will appear during launch. Even if the connection hasn't dropped entirely, it may not be strong enough to establish a connection to the server.

To ensure a stable connection, the player should check their internet speed through any appropriate website. Additionally, try restarting the router or connecting the PC to an Ethernet cable.

Disable VPN

Any VPN services can cause inadequate reactions from the game client. Firstly, proxies can reduce connection speed, leading to unstable connections. Secondly, VPNs may change the IP address during connection attempts, causing errors. It is best to disable any VPNs and proxies and restart Battle.net.

Wait

Sometimes, the blockage may only be lifted after a certain amount of time has passed. Typically, this takes a few minutes to a couple of hours. If all the previously described methods fail to log into the game, it may be worth waiting. However, no manipulations with Battle.net should be attempted during this time.

Reconnect PSN to Battle.net

On consoles, connections often suffer due to the need to link two accounts: PSN and Battle.net. Errors often occur during attempts to merge profiles, leading to an inability to log in to the game. In such cases, the player should:

  • Try logging into Diablo 4 with another account. Keep in mind that only one PSN account can be linked to your in-game profile;
  • Check the correctness of the Battle.net connection on the console. It is possible that the gadget is already linked to an incorrect account, which will need to be disconnected and replaced with the correct one;
  • Ensure that the console is not running the starting version of the Battle.net profile. Here, the player should access the profile management page, which allows completing the registration process entirely.

Change Region

Changing the region allows an automatic restart of the client and clearing of the cache. To change the region, follow these steps:

  • Go to "Settings" in the client;
  • Click on the "Game Settings" button;
  • Click on the "Server Region" button;
  • Select any other region;
  • Click the "Apply" button;
  • After the switching process is complete, repeat the procedure once again, returning to your standard region.

Clear Cache

Clearing the cache is the last resort before waiting. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Blizzard resource;
  • Open the Diablo 4 game settings (the button becomes available after clicking on the icon);
  • Go to the game settings section;
  • At the bottom of the page, there is a "Reset In-Game Options" button;
  • Click on the "Clear Cache" button.

How Queue Works

The queue in Diablo 4 operates by waiting on a timer. When the player attempts to log in to the server, they must wait 2 minutes on PC or 1 minute on consoles. Frequently, errors occur, and after the timer expires, the user still doesn't enter the game. In such cases, it is advisable to wait a couple more minutes before attempting to launch the game again. If Diablo 4 is closed immediately, the player will have to wait for the entire timer to reset.
