The first gameplay trailer for Battlefield 2042 has been released: description and release date of the game
EA and Dice recently unveiled their first Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer during today's summer gaming festival.
After the era of World War I with Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V, the developers came up with Battlefield 2042, which is set in the near future. Since the release of the cinematic trailer on June 9th, players have been eagerly awaiting the first gameplay footage of Battlefield 2042.
Battlefield 2042 Gameplay Details
Battlefield 2042 is a shooter set in a futuristic world. The developers posted a video on Twitter with the following statement:
"Adapt and overcome. First gameplay trailer of Battlefield 2042."
Battlefield 2042 also brings several exciting features: support for 128-player matches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as a new Hazard Zone mode. However, Battlefield 2042 will not include any campaign or Battle Royale mode at launch.

The developers confirmed that Battlefield 2042 will have seven different maps (the names have not been localized into Russian yet).
All Battlefield 2042 maps:
- Orbital - Kur, France, Guiana
- Sandstorm - Doha, Qatar
- Kaleidoscope - Songdo, South Korea
- Manifest - Ile Bruand, Singapore
- Discarded - Alang, India
- Breakaway - Queen Maud Land, Antarctica

Three different editions will be released for Battlefield 2042. The game will be available on Origin, Steam, Epic, XBOX One, XBOX Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
