"Coin, Corruption, and Tea" is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, completing which unlocks further storyline progression. Basim wishes to attend an auction, but to do so, he needs an invitation. In this guide, we’ll explore how to start and complete the quest, where to find the tea box, and how to locate the room with stolen goods.

After completing the "Coins and Daggers" quest, find our desired mission in the trade district of Karkh. Through the investigation menu, select the quest "An Old Friend". Near the bazaar square, you'll find two loudly talking merchants. Approach them and initiate a dialogue with Kong.

How to find tea for Kong

During the mission, Kong will ask you to find a missing box of tea. The room we're looking for, where the goods are stored, is located near our friend's shop. Head northeast. All windows are boarded up, so sneaking in won’t work. You'll have to battle the guards. Deal with them and go to the second floor.

Push the shelf to reveal a door. All that's left is to remove the bolt and step into the next room. There, you will find our needed box of tea. Bring it back to Kong.

How to find the storage with stolen goods

One errand won't be enough to get an invitation. Kong will give another task. You will need to find the Confiscation Warehouse.

Players may face some challenges here. The building is not marked on the map. However, developers have provided several ways to complete it. You can bribe Luca, who is in Kong's Storeroom. However, this requires Merchant Favor Tokens.

If you don't have them, head east, find the outer part of the city wall. The camp we're looking for will be located in the Karkh trade district.

How to find information about the harbormaster

We will need to find three documents, the data from which will lead us to the location of the harbormaster. Be careful; the storage is well guarded, with the perimeter patrolled by guards.

Find one note in the building located near the outer city wall. Eliminate the guard and take the document from the table.

Another note can be found in the opposite building. Go up to the second floor to find it.

The third document is outside; it's on a table under a red-colored canopy. Once you've collected all the clues, Basim can head to the port to meet with the harbormaster.

Assassinating the harbormaster

The climax of our short mission will be the assassination of the harbormaster. Head to the northeastern part of the map, to the very edge.

Enter the location, eliminate any guards in your way, and ascend to the building. There, you'll face a mini-boss—a large guard wielding a two-handed weapon.

We suggest using Basim's equipment during the fight, especially the smoke screen. They allow for stealth attacks that quickly drain the boss's health. Don't forget to deliver the finishing blow, then the quest will update.

Return to Kong and report the successful completion of the task.

Mission reward

Of course, every successfully completed task deserves a reward. As previously agreed, Basim will receive an invitation to the auction and a pleasant bonus of two skill upgrade points.
