One of the downsides of the game for many gamers is the presence of chromatic aberration. This color distortion seems unnecessary and many wish to disable it. But is that possible?

Unfortunately, the developers did not include an option to disable it in the image settings. Many users on Reddit have mentioned that it's hard to fully enjoy the game with this distorted image. For modern games, the presence of chromatic aberration has become almost mandatory.

It manifests as color distortion, blurred images during movement, changes in sharpness, and depth of the picture. Such effects often only cause nausea. For games, it's not necessary, but developers keep adding it. 

The absence of the option to disable aberration may deter many players from Assassin`s Creed Mirage. Beyond the unpleasant sensation for the player, such a filter can heavily tax a PC, especially older models. This reduces smoothness and frame rate.

The developers plan to release a patch soon that will add a function to the game to disable chromatic aberration.
