One of the side activities in the game are the Tales of Baghdad. A series of missions scattered throughout the city, with captivating stories and memorable characters. "A Life's Work" quest is one of the most challenging tasks in the Tales of Baghdad series. In this guide, you will learn where to find and how to complete the quest.

How to start the "A Life's Work" mission

Head to the Abbasiyah district to the synchronization point near the Observatory Viewpoint.

To the left of it on a bench will be a man named Al-Mahani, speak to him.

The man will start moving, but after a few steps, he will fall. He will tell you that he lost three pages of his treatise on stars somewhere near the Observatory. The man asks to find the pages before they fall into the wrong hands. Another trouble for Al-Mahani is a quarrel with his son, who left him just recently.

The location of the pages is not indicated on the map, so you will have to run around the area and find everything yourself.

Where to find the pages

The first page is located a little west of where Al-Mahani fell. Climb onto the building's roof. The page will start to fly away, and you'll have to chase it to catch it.

The second page is inside the Observatory itself. The main entrance to the building is locked, so you'll have to find another way. Go around the building and move an object.

You'll see a window in front of you, use a throwing knife to unlock the door that's bolted shut.

Enter the building, go up the stairs and take the page from the table. It will be located a bit to the right of the stairs.

The third page is located at the very top of the Observatory. If you haven't unlocked the synchronization point before, you'll have to climb up from the southern part of the building. Next, you'll need to move a shelf and climb higher.

Next to the huge astronomical object, you will find the third page. Take it and head back to the man.

Upon reaching him, you will find that Al-Mahani is dead, and his son stands nearby. Talk to him. Regardless of the dialogue choice you make, the quest will end, and you'll receive a skill point.
