In the past month, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg announced that the latest sci-fi RPG Bethesda, Starfield, will be released by the end of 2022. But two hours before the Microsoft Xbox & Bethesda presentation at the E3 2021 show, it was announced that Starfield will be released on November 11, 2021. But at one point much changed...

Starfield Release Date

Bethesda has confirmed that due to unforeseen circumstances, the release date will be pushed back to the end of 2022, specifically November 11, 2022. Starfield is released exclusively on Xbox X/S and PC, exactly 11 years after the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Starfield Gameplay Teaser

The Starfield gameplay teaser shows a mysterious, but clearly alien planet on board a ship called "Constellation". The narrator tells of a journey through the field of stars. The teaser also shows the interior of the Constellation, which is very reminiscent of the Space Age ships in sci-fi movies from the 1960s.

It is noteworthy that Starfield is being developed on the Creation Engine 2. It remains to be seen how the modding scene around the game will develop after its release.
