Stardew Valley: Where to Get and How to Grow a Mango Tree

If you want to get the most out of the Stardew Valley 1.5 update, you simply need to grow at least one mango tree!

Mango trees are hard to come by in the wilds of the Stardew Valley universe, but the new patch will help you out. In this guide, we'll tell you all the ways you can start harvesting sweet mangoes in just 28 days after planting. Let's get started!

How to Grow a Mango Tree

The easiest way to get a mango tree is to buy it from the island trader for 75 midis.

As an alternative, when the golden nut on the Ginger Island breaks, you can get a mango sapling (among many other tree types!). However, this is one of the most difficult options, especially if you are a beginner.

Nevertheless, if the first option doesn't work for you but you still want to grow a tree that will bear fruit all year round, you'll have to gather enough midis and pay the island trader.

After that, you have to plant the mango tree on the Ginger Island to harvest fruit all year round, not just in the warm season.

Make sure the tree has a 3x3 square grid that is completely free of debris. Watch over the mango tree for three years if you want fruit of excellent quality.

Also, protect it from lightning strikes if you don't need to mine coal. That's it, follow these simple rules and in 28 days you will have a mango tree with ready-to-harvest fruits!
