The Ending of Little Nightmares 2 came as a big surprise to all gamers, especially those who had played and been interested in the first part of the franchise.

There are numerous versions and theories about the endings of Little Nightmares 2 circulating on the internet. In this article, we have selected a few of the most interesting ones that we will briefly discuss.

Theories about the Ending of Little Nightmares 2

Theory 1: Six didn't forgive Mono for betrayal

Everything was fine between them until the moment Mono did not extend his hand to Six when she needed it the most. Remember the scene where the Thin Man captures Six? It is there that we clearly see the girl reaching out for help, but Mono does not assist her - that was the turning point.

Although Mono eventually went to rescue her, her broken soul could not be mended, as Six went through a real hell in the TV Tower. For a detailed description of this theory, read here.

Theory 2: Six wanted tranquility

This theory suggests that Six initially wanted to stay in her little pink world, but Mono didn't allow it. He wanted to help her, but the girl had different interests.

After entering the Abyss and triggering the time loop, Mono realized his mistake and, therefore, in the course of the game, he kidnapped Six to protect her from himself. For a detailed description of this theory, read here.

Theory 3: Six saw Mono's face for the first time and got scared

We all remember the scene where Mono REMOVES HIS HAT for the first time and kills the Thin Man (his face had never been seen before). Then he goes to the tower, and based on this theory, he saves Six.

Then they run towards the exit, and at the climax, Six freezes for a few seconds. Most likely, she saw in his face the features of the Thin Man (because that's who he is).

She connected the fact that Mono always concealed his face and had the ability to travel through the TV, which is significant. Remember that only the Thin Man could do that. She got scared, and at that moment, she pulled her hand away.

By the way, during the secret ending, we see Six passing through the TV screen. It is highly likely that while holding his hand, Six absorbed some of Mono's abilities. She possessed a similar ability in the first Little Nightmares game.
