Recently, there has been a debate in the Genshin Impact community about who will be in the 2.2 banner and whether we should expect Hu Tao and Childe to be rerun. Let's talk about it in more detail!

When will Hu Tao and Tartaglia be in Genshin Impact 2.2?

It's worth starting with the fact that any rerun in the game is always in question. We can't know for sure which character will be in the next banner. Developers can change their minds and replace the repeating character at any time. 

However, at the moment there is both insider and datamining information that in 2.2 we will indeed be expecting Hu Tao and/or Tartaglia. Why? Childe was given to Chinese beta testers, and Hu Tao's dialogues and significant role in the plot were noticed in the beta and leaked dialogues. 

That is why it can be said that at the moment the most likely banners of the 2.2 patch in Genshin Impact are Hu Tao and Tartaglia. Don't forget that Tom will also be in the upcoming update, however he is a 4* rarity, so he will stand next to one of the aforementioned heroes. 

Attention! It is now known for sure that Tom will be announced in the second half of the update.

Will there be a rerun of Ganyu in 2.2?

Unfortunately, no information about the Little Deer on the 2.2 beta test has been received so far. Nevertheless, there is still a small hope that everything can change.
