The Lanterns of the Past and Gu Hua of Today - This is a story about the Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact. It becomes available during the second stage of the Lantern Rite and will be accessible in the Huaguang Stone Forest.

Head to the Huaguang Stone Forest and talk to Sun Jian. He will want to make a Siao Lantern, but for that he will need a Cinsin Flower.

Where to Find the Cinsin Flower

You can find Cinsin Flowers on the peaks of Liyue. They can be found all over the Huaguang Stone Forest, so you won't have to go far. If you have Qiqi, you can add her to your party - she will mark all nearby Liyue flower resources on your map.

Return to Sun Jian and give him the plant, then he will ask you to go to the Tianheng Mountain and release the lantern. There you will meet a character named Zhiru.

Zhiru is a former member of the Sun Jian clan, with whom you will have to take a stroll. When it's done, return to Sun Jian once again. Talk to him and the mission will be completed. You will receive 30 Primogems, 20000 Mora and other goodies.
