In Genshin Impact 2.5, we are expecting a special event that will cover a new region with endless darkness and hidden chests. Players will have to face another unpleasant mechanic that hinders gameplay and fast completion.

Event of the Darkened Archipelago in 2.5: Details

As already mentioned above, during this event the entire Archipelago will be darkened. You will have to explore it again, collecting temporary chests, completing trials and opening old teleportation points. Below you can see what the temporary location will look like (cr. Blank).

In order not to get lost in the darkness, you will be given a special tool called "Bokuso's Box". When exploring the Archipelago, you will need to spend some energy to use Bokuso's Box and dispel the darkness surrounding the trial areas, chests and resources. Some teleports will be closed by darkness. To activate them, you will need to use special ore and beans, the collection of which will be helped by the Level 1 Box.

The Box will help you weaken enemies, dispel darkness, and quickly find temporary chests/trials and ore.
