Initially leaked maps only showed the "bare bones" of Inazuma, but recently we have obtained a polished picture with all the dungeons, bosses, and waypoints.

Inazuma Map: All the Details and Description

The above map shows the following important locations in Inazuma:

  • Three Statues of The Seven
  • 26 teleportation waypoints
  • 8 Skiff (boat summoning) points
  • 6 dungeons

Out of the five leaked dungeons, two are marked as locations for collecting various rewards, while the other three could be battle locations for new weekly bosses or one-time challenge domains.

The maps also show the location of the upcoming boss battle with Maguu Kenki. He will likely reside on a large western island north of the Snake Skeletal Caverns (there's a barely noticeable boss icon there).

Exploration Features in Inazuma

According to beta testers, players will encounter many electricity-themed puzzles while exploring Inazuma. Some of them are speculated to be quite challenging, at least compared to the ones we have had on the Golden Apple Archipelago so far.

By solving these puzzles and exploring the new region, players are likely to receive chests and free Primogems. However, unlocking Inazuma might not be as straightforward as previous updates.

Dangerous areas in Inazuma

Some regions in Inazuma will have a lot of electric energy that constantly damages characters in that area. Based on leaks, Electroculi will likely be needed to mitigate these effects.

Beta tests show that the marked areas above will be particularly dangerous. You should be cautious as the purple-colored polluted water will likely inflict significant damage.

Size and Location of Inazuma

Based on this render, Inazuma will be located southeast of the current map, with a large body of water separating it from Liyue. If the scaling of this map remains the same, then Inazuma will be the smallest nation in Genshin Impact to date. Despite that, we will certainly have plenty to explore in the upcoming area.

Inazuma appears to be approximately twice the size of Dragonspine, and some of the small and lesser-known islands are likely to contain many chests. The main story in Genshin Impact has long departed from Liyue, and Inazuma is the next major area of exploration.
