Update 2.0 is the next patch for Genshin Impact featuring the new region of Inazuma. The recent livestream brought a huge amount of news that has created a lot of excitement among fans.

Inazuma, in particular, looks magnificent with its beautiful landscapes and breathtaking locations. During the livestream, they also announced the characters that will appear throughout the journey in the Electro region.

Who is Kamisato Ayaka: Description

Just like in the beta version, Ayaka will be a cryo character who wields a sword.

Who is Yoimiya: Description

Yoimiya is an agile archer and pyro character. She is described as "an experienced pyrotechnician who will become an important ally in the Traveler's main storyline."

Who is Sayu: Description

Sayu is a ninja with Anemo Vision of the God. Despite her small stature, Sayu wields a claymore as her weapon. She is likely to be a support in the team. More about Sayu here.

Little Sayu doesn't agree that her small height is fair. She tries to deal with this problem in various ways. Many say that we grow faster in our sleep, so don't be surprised if you catch Sayu sleeping during the day.

Who is Kujou Sara: Description

"Eliminate all elements that pose an 'eternal' threat. That's the Shogun's order."

Kujou Sara is the general of the Tenryou Commission. A loyal servant of the Archon, seeking eternity. She wields a bow and possesses Electro Vision.

Who is Gorou: Description

"Resistance should not sell out its allies."

Gorou is the resistance general against Shogun Raiden. His Geo Vision and weapon were also revealed during the stream (a bow and Geo).

Who is Touma: Description

"I have a way to take you to the Raiden Shogun."

Little is known about his weapon and element for now, there are only speculations that he wields a polearm and the pyro element.

Who is Yaoyao: Description

It is said that this elegant lady is both intelligent and cunning. She will appear in the Archon Quest and play a major role in the story of Inazuma.

Yaoyao's weapon is currently unknown, but the Electro Vision of the God is visible on her chest. More about Yaoyao and her voice actor here.

Who is Sangonomiya Kokomi: Description

"Sorry for keeping you waiting, my ambush."

Kokomi is the leader of Watatsumi Island and the resistance against the Electro Archon. She wields Hydro Vision, and her weapon is currently unknown (presumably a catalyst).

Who is Raiden Shogun/Baal: Description

Raiden Shogun is the Electro Archon and the main antagonist of Inazuma. Raiden's appearance is cold and stern. She will be the key to the story in Inazuma.

The encounter between this powerful god and the Traveler will be at the center of the whole story. What is the Electro Archon pursuing and protecting? What is she fighting for? Why does she seek eternity? The answers to all these questions will be hidden in your journeys this time.
