As mentioned earlier, version 2.5 of Genshin Impact will introduce a new weekly boss - Raiden Shogun. In this article, we will provide all the known information about the Raiden boss, including its HP, battle phases, and much more. Let's dive in!

Weekly boss Raiden 

Description of Phases and Mechanics of Weekly Boss 2.5 Raiden Shogun

Before we delve into the description, please note that there won't be as many cutscenes in the Raiden battle as there are mechanics transitions. The health bar will remain consistent throughout the battle!

Phase 1: Raiden Boss

• Raiden teleports more frequently compared to the first battle;
• Higher resistance to all types of damage;
• More significant Electro attacks (explosions, lightning);
• Can be stunned temporarily, but it won't weaken her.

Phase 2: Raiden Boss (can have 2 development variants, you'll get one of them)

1. Need to destroy Electro constructions. One construction will appear that needs to be destroyed within 5 seconds; otherwise, it will explode, and you'll move to a mini-version of Phase 1, and then you'll be thrown into Phase 2 with 3 constructions;
2. Search for the original. Raiden splits into 3 clones, and you'll have 10 seconds to find the real one. If you fail, you'll be sent back to Phase 1.

Phase 3: Raiden Boss

She gains an Electro shield that is most susceptible to Electro attacks.

• Most attacks in this phase involve sword strikes and AoE damage;
• There's also a chance to temporarily halt one attack. You'll be immobilized and unable to dodge that attack.

Phase 4: Raiden Boss

In this part, Raiden's hands become enormous.

• The hands summon Electro spheres that need to be destroyed with Electro attacks (this will give you a shield to protect against the next hand attack);
• If you have the shield, you won't take damage, and Raiden's shield will be affected. If you don't have the shield, switch to any character other than your main DPS.

Phase 5: Raiden Boss - Fury

• E skill has a larger radius;
• Totems appear, dealing additional AoE damage and exploding;
• Throws exploding spears.

Phase 6: Raiden Boss

This phase occurs after breaking the shield of the Enhanced Form (Phase 3). She enters a weakened state for 20 seconds. If you don't defeat her before the end of this phase, the cycle will restart from Phase 1.

Who will need materials from the Raiden boss?

Currently, it's known that the materials from Raiden will be needed for Yae Miko. Additionally, based on insider leaks, they will be required for the ascension of Ayato, a 5-star Hydro character from version 2.6.
