When Update 2.3 of Genshin Impact comes out, Itto's banner will feature new encounters and more

Genshin Impact 2.3 is not far away, and we have something to discuss, starting with the Itto banner and ending with new encounters!

When will Patch 2.3 be released for Genshin Impact

The release date for Patch 2.3 is November 23 or 24 (depending on your region). As usual, the first update banner will be available immediately after the maintenance work, approximately at 6 a.m. MSK.

When will the Itto banner be released in Genshin Impact

The Itto banner, along with Gorou, will be available soon - December 14. The first 5-star character of the patch will be Albedo. You can read more about the banner schedule in this article.

Who are Itto and Gorou?

By now, you are probably familiar with Gorou if you have carefully followed the Inazuma storyline. He is the resistance commander against the shogun Raiden, a 4-star Geo archer who is primarily played as a buffer.

Itto is a completely new character mentioned only in Inazuma's dialogues. Itto is a 5-star Geo character who wields a dual-handed weapon. If you want to learn about his skills and abilities, read this article.

Itto's Signature Weapon

A 5-star signature claymore will also be added to the game, perfectly suited for the new character. Its characteristics are as follows:

ATK: 44 (Level 90: 542)
Crit DMG: 19% (Level 90: 88.2%)
Passive: Defense increased by 28% (Refinement 5: 56%). Normal and Charged Attacks increased by 40% (Refinement 5: 80%).

The high Crit DMG percentage makes this weapon incredibly valuable in the game.

New Encounters in Genshin Impact 2.3

In the upcoming update, there will be encounters with Gorou and Baal. The girl will have 7 endings, and the boy will have 5.
