This legendary weapon is highly popular in the Night City. Finding it is not that difficult, you just need to know where and how. This guide will help you obtain the Monowire in Cyberpunk 2077 for free and before the "Gimme Danger" mission. Let's get started!

The Monowire is a type of laser whip that can not only inflict damage but also literally dismember opponents. Its unique feature is recharge. The Monowire requires a little time to replenish energy, but it deals significant damage. There are two methods to acquire this weapon: completing a side quest or finding the weapon on your own.

In the first case, you need to start the side quest "Gimme Danger" from Regina Jones.

During the mission, you and Regina will go to a well-guarded pharmacy. Instead of going straight to the entrance, go around the wall on the left side until you see a garage door (it can be opened).

Inside, you will find the coveted Monowire in a chest!

Don't forget to visit a Ripperdoc before using the Monowire.

The second method involves skipping the side quest and quickly obtaining the weapon. This method is also useful for those who have already completed the "Gimme Danger" mission but couldn't find the equipment. So, follow the same steps: head to Kabuki and look for the pharmacy marked on the map as "Roger Wang Pharmacy".

You can reach the pharmacy using fast travel, specifically via Sutter Street or Charter Street. Then follow the instructions mentioned above: "go around the wall on the left side until you see a garage door". Open it and retrieve the Monowire from the chest. There you go, the legendary Monowire weapon is now at your disposal!
