Already everyone knows that Resident Evil: Village will appear on our screens on May 7. However, what time can players start immersing themselves in the full version of the sequel?

We think that Resident Evil: Village will be released at 19:00 MSK, and here's why:

So far only Microsoft has indicated the official release time, however there is a lot of evidence confirming what time the game will be released on all platforms.

The British version of the Xbox Store says that Resident Evil Village will be "available on May 7, 2021 at 01:00 am". In the US it is slightly different, there they write "The game will be available on May 7, 2021 at 5:00 am"

As already mentioned, neither the American nor the British PlayStation store has a specific time, however historically big names such as Resident Evil Village are released at midnight in the local time zones of the players.

Steam has also not yet confirmed the official time, however the store gives a little more clues. Usually games are launched on Steam at the same time around the world (at 8 am GMT / 11 am Eastern / 7 pm MSK).

On the Steam Resident Evil Village page it says that the game will be released "May 7, 2021 (Japan: May 8)". The update time mentioned above (8 am GMT / 11 am Eastern / 7 pm MSK) will perfectly match, as in Japan it is exactly midnight. Since Capcom is a Japanese company, it is quite likely that the midnight launch there will correspond to its schedule.
